JACK.ORG - A CHARITY I CARE ABOUT

I lost my son Jack to suicide on December 21, 2023. The effects of the loss have been staggering and deeply wounding to my family and friends and my son’s friends.  In my healing journey, I created  Wiggedout Music to help my son's friends in Farhaven move forward. A particular connection has been with Piers Affleck who is also in Passion Mango as they were friends since 6 years old. From this journey I have expanded into helping other artists and creatives, especially those starting out, and it is rewarding and fills a gap.  In this arena, I have also met many in the "music biz" working through parallel journeys similar to the mental health issues Jack suffered from.

To honour Jack, his mother,  Laura Zerebeski, and I are raising money for mental health through a registered charity formed in 2011 called JACK.ORG   This charity is not named for my son but rather shares the name Jack. The charity is a Canadian youth mental health organization that promotes peer counselling and provides mental health training and literacy. From my experiences, this type of support helps.
